Recommendation methodology
A suitable plan must pass every gate.
RoamNow uses deterministic rules rather than an AI-generated guess to decide whether a plan can be shown for a trip.
1. Confirm the itinerary
Recommendations use one to three ordered destinations, inclusive travel dates, a data-use profile, and the selected currency. Missing or unsupported details fail closed.
2. Prove coverage and availability
A country plan must have authenticated country coverage. A regional plan is considered only when its explicit coverage evidence includes every requested country. RoamNow does not infer regional coverage from a plan name.
3. Apply commercial safeguards
The product must be active, explicitly priced, mapped to an available plan, approved, below its cost ceiling, and within the configured profitability and market-positioning rules.
4. Prefer the closest fit
Eligible plans are ranked by trip validity, expected data use, customer value, retail price, cost, and operator priority. Safe stacking is used only when every component remains eligible and valid for the full leg.
5. Recheck before Checkout
Quotes are short-lived and server-priced. Checkout repeats eligibility and price checks. Stripe collects payment; activation details remain private to email and My eSIM.
